The Beauty of Being a Photographer – Great Advice

Being a photographer is simply beautiful. It’s like an awesome journey where your dreams come true, providing photography is a real passion for you. I’m just like you, a passionate man who’s trying to find his way with this deal. And today I’m here to talk with you about this all, about everything that’s relevant to this.

Your Passion Is Important; Find It

You know, I like to consider passion as a special kind of divine fuel. It’s like you are a Ferrari, but without passion, you won’t go that far. You need to have the best fuel if you want to walk the long mile with great success, but you also need good skills – but this is the matter of discussion for our next section, so don’t hurry up too soon haha.

You need to find a section of photography that appeals you the most. For sure, you may like photography as a whole, but if you find a niche, then you are likely to simply love it, and it’s a lot better to be focused on only 1 sector instead of too many. Because mastering all or various areas of photography is honestly too difficult and not so rewarding at the end of the day.

You need to be as specialist as possible, because this is what will grant you a better knowledge on photography. This is a piece of advice I found at this blog: http://my-photography-addiction.blogspot.com.

Your Skills Are Important

You can be the most motivated person on this world, but without a good mastery on your skills, it will be too difficult to progress. You need to be versatile with your use of the camera, means you need to adopt a handful of different styles and techniques, so you can use the best that fits for every occasion.

But you should also become a master on software like Lightroom. This precious creation by Adobe is exactly what you need to add to your photos that “special touch”. That special touch that changes everything is what you need to reach superb and professional results with your pics.

I use Lightroom in fact, along with Photoshop. With LR I use some presets which allow me to reach professional results with 1 click, and the same with PS and its actions. I buy lots of them every year, because each year a professional studio releases them, and you can buy them in sites like Graphic River.

But you can also find these presets and actions for free online if you look hard enough. They will help you quite a lot if you use them correctly. You can begin by just using them, but after some time, I recommend you to analyze what they do, so you can try to replicate it by yourself, you will learn quite a lot doing this.
